How to Set Up the Bounce Validation Feature in SpamPro v2.2.0

Last Update bir yıl önce

Bounce checking is a process used to detect invalid or non-functional email addresses before or during email campaigns. If an email is sent to a bounced address, it means the message couldn’t be delivered—either because the address is incorrect, the domain doesn't exist, or the inbox is full. Sending to such emails reduces sender reputation and delivery rates.

What’s New in SpamPro v2.2.0?

SpamPro now supports real-time bounce validation while sending. That means:

  • You don’t need to check your list in advance.

  • While sending, SpamPro automatically checks each email for bounce status.

  • If an email is found to be bounced, it will skip it automatically and continue sending to the next one.

Steps to Configure Bounce Validation

Follow these steps to enable the feature in your SpamPro email sender:

1. Generate an API Key from SpamTools
  1. Go to the SpamTools Validation Portal.

  2. Click the Profile Icon in the top-right corner and select the API button.

  3. Click on Generate API Key.

  4. (Optional) If you want to restrict the number of validations, set a limit. Otherwise, keep the limit as 0 for unlimited.

📋 Copy the API key – you will need it in the next step.

Add API Key to SpamPro Sender

  1. Open the SpamPro Email Sender.

  2. Click the Settings button in the top header.

  3. Choose Bounce Validation.

  4. A window will pop up. Paste the API key you copied earlier.

  5. Click the Validate button.

  6. Once validated, click the Enable button.

Configure "Accept  Mode" Setting

You will now see a setting called:

Accept mode:

  • Valid only

  • Valid + Warn

  • Valid Only: Strict filtering. Only 100% verified emails will be accepted.

  • Valid + Warn: Slightly relaxed. Includes emails that are likely deliverable but not fully confirmed.

🔎 Recommended Setting: Use Valid + Warn for better reach while still avoiding most bounces.

Save Your Settings

Click the Save button to apply changes.

You will now see “Bounce Enabled” in your main SpamPro sender screen.

đź’ˇ Tips

  • You can disable or change the API anytime from the same settings window.

  • Use the Test Send option first to ensure everything is working before launching large campaigns.

  • API usage is deducted per validation—ensure you have credits available in your SpamTools account.
